“Clement Space” is perhaps the most well received and sought after trajectory from my research and practice. A study, concept and practical actioning of conducive space – finding, establishing, designing and maintaining – for renewal, restoration and thriving, emanating from the organic Autistic sensory paradigm, Clement Space was inspired and propelled by Lucy Like-a-Charm.
“Clement Space” formed the basis for my advisory design as Community Consultant to the National Gallery Singapore’s Calm Room, a brave pioneer work-in-progress, testament to true inclusive research and design, by a large public arts institution in Singapore. Thank you, National Gallery Singapore for this amazing opportunity to work alongside in the growth and development of sensory conducive spaces for better mental and physical wellbeing, from the unique perspective of lived-experience!
